Sales Account Executive
Position Information:
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Meets business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and longterm account goals in line with company vision and values.
Job Functions:

Conducts cold calls. Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers and influence the outcome.

Qualifies leads as potential Citynet customers by obtaining sufficient information to make a determination.

Responsible for sales in assigned territory. Meets and exceeds sales quotas.

Utilizes Citynet's prospect database (iTraxx) for record keeping, scheduling, and tracking quotes and orders. Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales,- and follow-ups activities.

Sells consultatively. Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in effective sales presentations when meeting with potential clients to offer telecom-internet-managed service solutions based on Citynet's product portfolio. Advises clients on how using Citynet products can reduce costs and/or increase revenue.

Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and solutions to their problems.

Demonstrates complete understanding of pricing and proposal models and prepares quotes. Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.

Networks with industry contacts and develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.

Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.

Summarizes weekly activities to review during Friday morning conference calls.

Works with all other departments within Citynet as . needed including sales support, engineering, provisioning, billing, and management.

Acts as a liaison for current customers and other Citynet departments to solve technical or billing issues.

Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
